    This is a full time, staff position within the Sales Department. Responsible for successfully promotion and selling Omtool’s document automation solutions, in a defined geographic territory. Duties include identifying, properly qualifying and developing business opportunities; presenting to executive levels of organizations and preparing formal proposals; leading negotiations, coordinating complex decision-making processes, and overcoming objections to closure. Individual needs to maintain a strong knowledge of technology initiatives and provide accurate sales forecasts while reporting to management in a timely and consistent manner.
    Position Purpose:
    To promote and sell new accounts (healthcare providers) while achieving or exceeding assigned quota

    • To identify and sell new accounts. Such prospects should qualified and warrant focused pursuit
    • To gain share and cross sell within existing assigned accounts
    • To expand market coverage through new AccuRoute sales
    • To focus on consistent and sustained quota attainment
    • Promote, sell, and provide account management services to new prospects and existing customers.
    • Develop a sales pipeline/prospect database of new business
    • Perform in-depth analysis of customer environments to determine appropriate solutions.
    • Telephone prospecting – average call expectation is 30 calls per day
    • Communicate the status of issues to management
    • Professional Development
    • Develop and maintain sensitivity to client needs/problems and situations.
    • Have a solid understanding of Omtool’s business model
    Qualifications/Knowledge & Skills Required:
    • Proven track record of 5-7 years (Minimum) consultative sales experience in the software arena
    • Sales experience in the healthcare provider vertical market
    • Familiarity with Meditech solutions and customer base is a plus
    • Bachelor’s degree required. MBA helpful
    • Proven history of sales success, exceeding quota, with personal annual earnings exceeding six figures
    • Ability to function autonomously
    • Excellent interpersonal, selling skills and relationship building abilities
    • Excellent oral and written communications skills
    • Well organized
    • Ability to administer consulting services client activities

    Web Software Developer 
    Work as a member of a small team of engineers developing enterprise-class, middleware/messaging products for document processing and communications. Use Windows-based development technologies to implement and augment a highly scalable codebase for capturing, processing and delivering business documents. Job responsibilities cover the full development lifecycle from technical architecture design to implementation and maintenance.
    Required Qualifications
    • Extensive experience with C# / ASP.NET development
    • Experience implementing client-side web technologies such as: Javascript, AJAX, DOM, and working with all major browsers.
    • Visual Studio 2005, 2010
    • BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent experience
    Desired Qualifications
    • Experience with security and security vulnerabilities in a web environment
    • Background in MS Windows and MS Windows APIs
    • Experience with C++
    • Experience working with Active Directory
